Decree No 2001-1316 of 27 December 2001 modifying the decree No 96-1133 of 24 December 1996 relating to the prohibition of the asbestos, taken pursuant to and the code fair labor standards act of consumption

The Prime Minister,

On the report/ratio of the Minister for the use and solidarity and the Minister of the economy, finances and industry,

Considering the directive No 99/77/CE of the Commission of bearing 26 July 1999 sixth adaptation to the technical progress (asbestos) of appendix I of directive 76/769/CEE of the Council concerning the approximation of the legistation, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to the limitation of the marketing and the use of certain substances and dangerous preparations;

Considering the fair labor standards act, in particular the articles L. 231-1 and L. 231-7;

Considering the code of consumption, in particular the article L. 221-3;

Considering the code of the customs, in particular article 38;

Considering the highway code;

Considering the decree No 96-1133 of 24 December 1996 relating to the prohibition of the asbestos, taken pursuant to and the code fair labor standards act of consumption;

Considering the opinion of the national Commission of hygiene and occupational safety in agriculture on December 10, 2001;

Considering the opinion of the higher Council of prevention of the occupational hazards on December 5, 2001;

Considering the opinion of the Commission of the safety of the consumers on December 12, 2001;

After consultation of the professional organizations interested employers and employees;

The Council of State (social section) heard,

Issue:

Article 1st. - In article 7 of the decree of 24 December 1996 referred to above, the words: "December 31, 2001" are replaced by the words: "December 31, 2002".

Art. 2. - the Minister for the economy, of finances and industry, the Minister for employment and solidarity, the Minister for the equipment, of transport and housing, the Minister for agriculture and fishing, the Minister for environment and regional planning and the Secretary of State to small and medium-sized undertakings, trade, craft industry and consumption are charged, each one in what relates to it, of the execution of this decree, which will be published with the Journal officiel de la République française.
